The IB curriculum is recognized as being made by a comprehensive broad curriculum that fosters the accelerated growth of its pupils and instills the values of critical thinking and a high quality of life. It’s essential to be aware of how to read the IB Learner profile that defines the IB curriculum. Students will be expected to master and grow a set of 10 qualities that ultimately turn into the standard by how they’re assessed.
There are 6 IB classes that fall into each of the categories. These include languages, mathematics, history, literature as well as economics, arts and sciences. Additionally, there are several levels of difficulty that are classified based on the size and depth of course. An academic course with more challenge will stimulate greater curiosity by students, and will require more analysis and listening skills.
